On July 10, 2025, at the headquarters of Saigon Water Corporation (SAWACO), Hai Duong Pump Manufacturing Joint Stock Company (HAPUMA) and ANDRITZ (Austria) co-organized a technical seminar to showcase design and manufacturing capabilities, exchange technical insights and share practical experience in the operation of pumping systems for clean water supply.

The seminar was chaired by Mr. Tran Cuong, Director of the Technology Department at SAWACO.
Participants from SAWACO included management representatives and technical experts from affiliated units such as Tan Hiep Water Plant, Can Gio Water Enterprise, Saigon Groundwater Company Ltd., Thu Duc Water Plant and the Rural Water Supply Enterprise.
Representing ANDRITZ were Ms. Elisa Wielinger – Global Sales Director, Mr. Alois Bacher – Regional Sales Director for Southeast Asia and Mr. Phạm Văn Khoa – Sales Director, Vietnam.
The HAPUMA delegation was led by Mr. Nguyen Trong Tieu – Chairman of the Board, accompanied by Mr. Nguyen Duc Cach – Senior Advisor, Mr. Nguyen Tung Lam – Deputy General Director in charge of External Affairs, Mr. Truong Quang Hieu – Southern Regional Sales Director, along with team members from HAPUMA’s Ho Chi Minh City Office.
The seminar featured three main sessions:
• ANDRITZ presented its state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies for high performance pumps used in clean water systems;
• HAPUMA introduced its manufacturing capabilities, equipment supply and technical service solutions;
• An open discussion on operational experience and best practices in the water supply industry.
