HAPUMA and the journey to restore the flow of Con Son stream
Each spring, the Con Son – Kiep Bac heritage site in Chí Linh, Hai Duong welcomes visitors seeking the quiet beauty of its mountains and long standing spiritual traditions. For more than twenty years, however, Con Son stream had steadily declined nearly dry in the dry season and flowing only after periods of heavy rain.
This year, the setting feels complete once again. Clear water now moves gently over the rocks and through the pine forest, bringing renewed life to the landscape and restoring the calm, contemplative atmosphere that defines the area.
The return of the stream carries the contribution of Hai Duong Pump Manufacturing Joint Stock Company (HAPUMA). With an integrated pumping and water regulation system, HAPUMA’s engineers and technicians, together with project partners, worked through the early days of 2026 to ensure the stream would flow in time for the Lunar New Year season.
For HAPUMA, the project represented more than an engineering task. It was an opportunity to help preserve the natural and cultural heritage of the local community. As water flows back to Con Son stream, it brings with it a quiet pride steady, sincere and enduring for those who helped make it possible.
