Hai Duong, October 25, 2025 – The Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Hai Duong Pump Manufacturing Joint Stock Company (HAPUMA) convened the 29th Delegates’ Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
This Congress was held under special circumstances. The current Executive Committee, elected for the 2023-2028 term, is only midway through its tenure. However, following the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front, which took effect on July 1, 2025, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour has officially been placed under the Vietnam Fatherland Front. In accordance with this new national organizational structure, HAPUMA’s Trade Union concluded its 2023-2028 term ahead of schedule and convened this Congress to launch the new 2025-2030 term.
Held under the motto “Solidarity – Democracy – Discipline – Innovation – Development” the Congress marked an important transition in the Union’s organizational model, symbolizing a new phase of growth and modernization.
During the session, delegates reviewed the situation of workers and Trade Union activities over the past two years, conducted a candid assessment of the Executive Committee’s performance during the 2023-2028 term and outlined key directions and tasks for the 2025-2030 period.
A major highlight of the event was the election of a new Executive Committee, comprising five distinguished members – employees recognized for their integrity, capability and dedication to advancing HAPUMA’s labor movement.
The Congress also elected the HAPUMA Trade Union delegation to attend the 7th GELEX Trade Union Congress for the 2025–2030 term, to be held in November.
This year’s Congress adopted a more concise, dignified and efficient format, integrating elements of Industry 4.0 technology into the election process for group leaders and delegates to higher level Trade Union congresses.
At HAPUMA, socio-political organizations continue to receive strong support from the Board of Management, enabling them to leverage their strengths and contribute collectively to building a united, innovative and progressive HAPUMA community.
